Veon is a specialist provider of ecology, arboriculture and forestry services for over thirty years. Our clients include government bodies and private companies in Ireland and internationally.

Veon Forestry has over 35 years’ experience in the Irish and international forestry industry, managing over 50,000 acres of Irish forests on behalf of our clients such as Family Wealth Offices, HNWIs and some of the best known estates in the country including the Coollatin Estate, Kilcooley Estate, Annaghmore Estate, Knockdrin, and Ballyfin among others. Our forestry team are technical members of the Society of Irish Foresters. We offer all forest management services including planting, maintenance, road construction and harvesting. In addition, we offer specialist services to our clients such as asset acquisition and sale, valuations, audits, and specialist reports such as expert witness reports.

Veon strives to achieve best silvicultural practice managing our client’s forest resources under the principle of sustainable forest management. Veon management
is certified by the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC).

Veon Ecology is dedicated to ensuring that all our clients’ activities follow best practice in compliance with environmental legislation. Our ecology team are members of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM).

Veon has supplied a range of ecological services to clients such as Cairn Homes, Wills Bros, State bodies, County Councils and leading multinational renewable energy companies both in Ireland and the UK. Veon is proud to have worked on projects like the Drogheda Port Access Northern Cross Route (PANCR), N59 bypass in Galway, the Poolbeg Power Station, Irish Rail projects and numerous solar and windfarm projects.

We undertake Ecological Appraisals, Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIA), ecological aspects of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIAR) of development projects, and Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW) services. We also deliver a wide range of ecological and hydro-ecological services to assist our clients in achieving their objectives.

Veon Arboriculture is an independent Arboricultural consultancy and provides professional tree assessments, tree surveys and hedgerow management services to a broad range of clients in the public and private sectors for clients such as Iarnród Eireann, Cairn Homes, Country Councils and our forest management and estate clients.

Our arboriculture specialists are qualified to carry out a range of tree assessments and tree surveys to determine the health, quality and safety and protection of trees on sites.
