Jenny Deakin is the Manager of the Catchment Science and Management Unit in the EPA. The role of the Unit is to assess the anthropogenic impacts on water quality, in a catchment-based context, and to collaborate with other organisations to identify measures to mitigate these impacts. Jenny has a PhD in Catchment Science from Trinity College and has worked in Ireland and Australia for 25 years on water and catchment management issues.
